Hello bookworms, this is a book list, yes, another one… What can I say? It’s my new obsession. It seems it’s shifted from mini-reviews to this; what’s next? Nobody knows.
Sometimes you want to be dramatic. Aka, sometimes I want to be dramatic. And beyond just doing so in my daily life, it’s incredible that books can allow me to do so. I love feeling like I want a change in my life and can sit on the subway and pull out a self-help/motivation/typical billionaire advice book. CHANGE ME. TEACH ME THINGS. WORK YOUR MAGIC, BABY. This is what I’m hoping I can communicate to the reader. WORK MIRACLES ON ME. YES, TELL ME HOW YOU WAKE UP AT 3 A.M., AND THAT’S WHY YOU MAKE SO MUCH MONEY. Okay, perhaps not, but there’s nothing like reading a few pages on being successful, grinding, and hustling, to put things into perspective. Do I want to spend my life scheduling my day minute to minute, or would I drink wine by the river instead? Is there a middle ground? If not, I chose the wine. White wine, please.
