Book Review – 13 minutes by Sarah Pinborough

Hello Bookworms, today’s book review is about a book that I definitely recommend to all readers!

Genre: Thriller, Mystery, Young Adult

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(5/5 stars!)

Publisher: Flatiron Books (October 3, 2017)

Length: 320 pages

“I would recommend this book to those who love a good plot twist, and a fast-paced crime story”

Summary : Natasha is the ultimate mean girl at her school; with her two loyal sidekicks and an entire student population that adores her. Everything is going perfectly until one night Tasha’s body is pulled from the freezing waters of the River Ribble. When Tasha finally wakes up, she’s shocked at what had happened and wants to figure out why. Then as her two best friends start acting suspicious she decides to solve her own case. The story is told through her eyes, and the eyes of her old childhood best friend Becca; who she recruits to help solve her “mystery”.

Recommendation: All I can say is “WOW”!

Half way through the book I was sure I had predicted every single event to come; but little did I know this book would leave me speechless and a little shaken up after reading it. Even though this summary seems quite bland, I ASSURE YOU that the book is full of twists and turns. It takes the reader on a scary and intense roller coaster. I would recommend this book to young adult readers who love a good teen drama that explores mature themes.

This book is a page-turner that shows the different perspectives of the two teenage girls minds. You will not be disappointed by this shocking and gripping book that makes you question everything you believed from the start.

All I can say is… I 100% RECOMMEND!
